Tabarca Island

A small and tranquil island off the coast of Alicante. Visitors can snorkel or take a glass-bottom boat ride in the national marine parks' crystal clear waters, or just sunbathe on the charming little beach. Once a hideaway for pirates, the spot is now home to fish restaurants, fortifications, San Jose Castle and a small local population.

Aqualandia Water Park

Within easy reach of the centre of Benidorm, Aqualandia is FUN so the kids will love it, which means parents will too. Assorted shutes / springboards / pools / rapids / waterfalls and black holes (that’s right, black holes, but don’t worry, 'cos you go in two at a time) will satisfy all members of the wet set. Themed areas planted with trees and shrubs house the Pistas Blandas, the Laguna, Niagara, Splash, the Big Bang... and the Kamikaze. But if they sound a bit too demanding, don’t worry little ones and the non-mermaids amongst you are also catered for with more gentle options. Alicante

The coast of Alicante and the Costa Blanca owes its name to the beaches stretching for several kilometres and attracts many tourists. This beach is unspoilt, picturesque and within walking distance of Alicante harbour and shopping centre. Facilities available on the seafront include restaurants, bars, cafes and car parks and services include access for the handicapped, toilets, watchtowers, a Red Cross post, tourist information and water sports on the beach.

The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag of the European Union. The beach can be reached by car, by bus or by trenet, the narrow-gauge railway.
